Book Analysis
(from Professor Meister's Syllabus)
You’ll be choosing a book (not a children’s or young adult text, but an adult-level book) to read throughout the semester. This analysis is a 5-6 page examination of that text as it pertains to course material. The subject of the book can be an athlete, a specific contest, a sports issue, etc. but should be cleared with the instructor prior to beginning the assignment. Be sure to cover the larger themes to which the text pertains, don’t simply rewrite it.
