About the Summer Faculty Book Group

The Summer Faculty Book Group is convened from June - August each summer by Rachel Bicicchi (Educational Technology Coordinator and Librarian).

Our primary goal is to improve ourselves as teachers through study of pedagogical methods, but we also consider sharing our experiences and getting to know our colleagues from around campus to be important "side benefits" of this goal!

Participation is open to all faculty and staff at Millikin. The book title is generally annouced in April or May via e-mail. Interested participants should simply reply to the e-mail!

Depending on the number of particpants, we will often divide into a few smaller groups, with one group that meets only online. (Most of the groups will meet on campus).

Meetings are generally every other week from June through early August. If you must miss a few meetings for vacations or other committments, that is fine!
