Fall 2025 Hours
The company that develops and manages the Boundless platform, Baker & Taylor, recently announced that they are winding down operations and sunsetting the Boundless platform by the end of 2025. Due to the sudden closure of Baker & Taylor, eRead Illinois program is transitioning to a new platform on a short timeline.
Title holds are currently suspended in the Boundless app. You may wish to make a list of your pending titles, as they will not transition to the new platform.
Nov. 2: Last day for checkout in Boundless app.
Nov. 17: Boundless app. becomes defunct/no longer supported
Dec. 2: New platform launch for eRead Illinois, the Palace Project app.
Staley Library is a member of eRead Illinois, a library of 35,000+ eBooks and audiobooks shared by a consortium of over 400 Illinois public, academic, and special libraries.
Items in the library are primarily for an adult or young adult audience, though there are some middle grade and young reader materials as well.
Items are accessible either via the eRead Illinois website or the Boundless mobile app.
Note: Axis360 (the previous eRead Illinois mobile app) was updated on September 27, 2023 to the Boundless app.
Users can access eRead Illinois one of two ways.
1) Via a browser
Click on the link above to access eRead Illinois
Next, click the button labeled "Sign In" in the upper, right corner:
Choose "Millikin Users" on the next screen:
Use your myMillikin username and password to sign in:
2) Via the free Boundless app
Use your device's app store to look up "Boundless" and add the app to your device:
Open the app. On the "Welcome!- Let's Find Your Library" screen, type "Millikin" in the "Search" box and click search.
Click on the search result "Staley Library, Mlilikin University":
Choose "Millikin Users" on the next screen:
Then, use your myMillikin username and password to sign in:
You should now see the eRead Illinois/Boundless homescreen.
