MH316/IN350- Introduction to Ethnomusicology: Requesting Staley Library Items for Curbside Pick-up

A guide to researching ethnomusicology at Staley Library.

Introduction - Requesting Items for Curbside Pick-up

Those that do not feel comfortable coming inside the building may use our request system, as accessed through Millikin Library Discovery, to order items for scheduled curbside pick-up/delivery. This process is outlined below.

Please note:

  • Curbside pickup is available at Staley Library, but not necessarily other I-Share libraries.
  • We are currently limiting patrons to 10 items arranged for pick up per patron per day.
  • Scheduled pick ups are offered-
    • Fall/Spring Academic Semesters: Mondays-Thursdays 9:30am-6pm, Fridays 9:30am-5pm, and Sundays 1pm-6pm.
    • Summer/Winter Sessions: Mondays-Thursdays 9:30am-5:30pm, Fridays 9:30am-12:30pm.
  • We will hold requested items for 7 days, after which any un-retrieved items will be returned to the shelf/their home library.
  • You will need to sign-in to your account in Millikin Library Discovery/Online Catalog to request items for pick-up. For instructions on how to do this, see below.
  • Once your requests have been filled, you will receive an automated "On Hold Shelf" email.
  • If you are interested in a portion of the book, see the tab in this guide titled "Requesting Book Chapters with ILLiad" to learn how to request digital copies of book chapters.
